New charity shop opens in Corby town centre
The Air Ambulance Service has opened a new charity shop in Corby today.
The Air Ambulance Service has opened a new store in Corby to raise vital funds to support their lifesaving missions.

The store opened today (Friday, October 30) in 12 New Post Office Square.
The opening will be another dual-branded store for the charity, supporting both Your Local Air Ambulance (YLAA) and the National Children’s Air Ambulance (NCAA).

Your Local Air Ambulance brings rapid emergency care to communities across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. The crews deliver advanced care at the scene of an incident and help to give the patients the best possible chance of survival.
The National Children’s Air Ambulance operates across England, Scotland and Wales, providing specialist transfers for critically ill babies and children. Working alongside eleven NHS paediatric teams, combining their specialist expertise with the charity’s aircraft to safely transfer young patients to the care they need.
The charity receives no funding from the government or National Lottery and relies entirely on donations to raise the much-needed funds for each mission. The funds raised at the new Corby store will help to keep the charity’s helicopters flying and crews available 24/7, 365 days a year.
Kelly Riches, Retail Area Manager, said: “We are excited to be joining the Northamptonshire community with our dual-branded store.”
“Please visit our store to grab a bargain, chat about volunteering opportunities, or donate your pre-loved items. Every penny raised helps to keep our lifesaving missions possible.”
