Below is the ten places ranked as the best to walk your dog in Northamptonshire, according to Gary, as well as his ratings of all ten beauty spots.

9. Hunsbury Hill Country Park
Gary said: "Hunsbury Hill is a great place to walk dogs. I would use it more if I lived closer. Free car park. Lovely cafe open decent hours. Plenty of variety for dogs and some dog waste bins too. It even drains better than most in winter. The only negative is that during school holidays in summer popular as a picnic location (and dogs love picnic food!)." Overall rating: 4.6/5 Photo: Gary Box

10. Delapre Abbey
Gary said: "Delapre Abbey is a good option to walk your dog. There is free parking and a cafe / toilets. Open fields near car park and more wooded walk around the lake. It can be muddy in winter however." Overall rating: 4.3/5 Photo: Gary Box
