KGH has no new coronavirus deaths, NHS England figures show today (Tuesday, May 16).

There have been no deaths linked to Covid-19 since Friday.

The welcome news comes after ten deaths linked to Covid-19 at the end of last week were confirmed at KGH over the bank holiday weekend.While the number of deaths across England have been falling, KGH saw five deaths on Thursday (May 21), the highest number in a single day since April 27 when six patients died.

There have been no coronavirus deaths at KGH for the past three days, today's NHS England figures show

A further three patients died on Friday, May 22.

Across Northamptonshire there have now been 164 deaths at KGH, 226 at NGH, five at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and 111 in care homes.

It takes the county's death toll across all these settings to 506.
