Further two Covid-19 deaths announced at Kettering General Hospital

Health bosses have announced two more people have died at KGH after contracting Covid-19.

The new deaths, announced this afternoon (Saturday, April 4) bring the total number of people who have died from coronavirus at the hospital to 13. They both died on Tuesday, March 31.

Added to the 17 deaths that have happened at Northampton General Hospital, this brings the county’s total number of deaths to 30. As of last night, the number of diagnosed cases in Northamptonshire was 264 - double the number of cases we had just five days ago.

NHS England announced this afternoon that, across the UK, a further 708 deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours. The total number of people who have now died from coronavirus is 4,313.
