Rotary Club of Wellingborough Music Festival 2026
The Wellingborough Rotary Music Festival was held at the Wrenn School, London Road, Wellingborough over 5 evenings, 9th – 13th March.
There were 134 entries, an increase of over 12 per cent on last year. Every evening was full of excellent musical performances across all age groups and musical styles performed by individuals and groups of young musicians. Everyone had a certificate for taking part.
The audience, of up to 150 on some nights, had a real treat. The Young Musician of the Year Instrumental, Noah Grant gave a masterly performance on the piano, and the Young Vocalist of the year Jydedah Rehoboth’s singing was worthy of any West End stage. The Young Musician of the year in each age group won a cash prize of £25, with the overall winners receiving £150.
A full list of the winners, along with pictures of some of the performers, is available on the Rotary Club of Wellingborough website.
Last year’s young Vocalist of the Year Grace Hillis won through to the National Young Musician in 2025, and this year also won the District Young Musician of the Year award.
We are so proud of all the young performers, and we look forward to more excellent music at our Seasonal Concerts at the Castle Theatre 16th – 20th November 2026, and the 35th Wellingborough Rotary Music Festival on 15th – 19th March 2027.
