New health and beauty store opening at Rushden Lakes this week

Rushden Lakes' new Superdrug will include an in-store 'immersive experience' from Skinnydip when it opens this week.

The new store is due to open on Thursday (April 1) in the unit vacated by New Look after it closed earlier this year.

It has created 21 jobs and will offer customers access to the latest health and beauty products, everyday toiletries and luxury fragrances.

Superdrug is also offering an exclusive opening offer to all shoppers, giving customers 100 points on their Health & Beauty card when they spend £20 (offer running from April 1-7).

Alongside Superdrug’s usual beauty offering, the Rushden Lakes store will showcase a brand new immersive experience, housing Skinnydip’s largest ever Superdrug ‘Shop In Shop’.

This will be the largest Skinnydip stand at Superdrug to date, with more than 150 exciting skus on offer.

For the first time ever in Superdrug stores, shoppers will be able to browse Skinnydip’s lifestyle and fashion accessories, such as nightwear, slippers and cushions.

The bestselling Revolution range will also have a large shop in shop in the new store, with more than 100 skus on offer, immersing shoppers in the range and offering a premium beauty shopping experience.

In addition, the newly launched Missguided Beauty range will have a stand showcasing the range, with the fast fashion brand now exclusively available on the UK high street at Superdrug.

The store’s health and beauty offering will include Superdrug’s popular own brand ranges including B. by Superdrug, Naturally Radiant, Me+, Layering Lab, suncare range Solait and baby range My Little Star.

Customers can also shop from a range of exclusive beauty and personal care brands such as Revolution, Beauty Laundrette and Tanologist.

There will be a new fragrance counter selling brands including Paco Rabanne, Marc Jacobs, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana.

The new Rushden Lakes store also includes a brand new Beauty Studio offering professional treatments at affordable prices, which will open in line with the government guidelines.

Within the Beauty Studio, customers will have access to a Brow & Lash bar with tinting and eyebrow shaping, and lashes applied for special occasions.

The new store will also include a nail bar offering classic and gel manicures, and an ear piercing studio.

The store's opening hours will be 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
