While shoppers may have seen notices in the windows of Two Seasons and Jigsaw saying they are closed until further notice, Rushden Lakes has confirmed these shops have closed for good.

Beth Eastgate, asset manager at The Crown Estate which owns Rushden Lakes, told the Northants Telegraph: “This is a challenging time for many retailers, and while we are supporting our occupiers wherever we can, Two Seasons and Jigsaw have taken the difficult decision to close a number of stores, including at Rushden Lakes.

"We are in discussions with a number of other occupiers for the units, and look forward to continuing to develop the offer for shoppers.”

Earlier this year, the Northants Telegraph reported how Accessorize had closed its doors at Rushden Lakes but a spokesman for the chain said they were working with the landlord to agree a new lease and re-open.
