The 24-hr McDonald's, which was given planning permission by Kettering Council earlier this year, is expected to create between 65 and 100 jobs for the community.

It will have a double drive-thru lane, outdoor seating, a play frame and 44 car parking spaces.

Earlier this week the restaurant appealed for help to find a hometown hero who could open the new site.

Anyone who wishes to nominate someone should message the McDonald's Burton Latimer Facebook page with the name of the person they are nominating and why they should be recognised.
