I am a Digital Journalist at The Star, Sheffield and joined NationalWorld in June 2022. My work is primarily found in The Star, but has also been published in the Doncaster Free Press, Derbyshire Times and Yorkshire Evening Post.
I work with The Star's Live Team, bringing you breaking news and other news stories from across Sheffield on a day-to-day basis. My multimedia training means you will see me across a lot of things at The Star. As well as my written work, I host The Star's Behind the Headlines Podcast, present the daily news bulletin, and edit video packages I have produced myself.
My proudest achievement of my career so far is being the first reporter to reveal Abtisam Mohamed had secured the Labour Party nomination in Sheffield Central for the 2024 General Election. I had to mute my Twitter for a day until it had died down.
I'm from Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, but I graduated from the University of Sheffield's Journalism Department in July 2022. While I was a student, I worked my way up to become the Editor of the student newspaper, Forge Press, and led it to be nominated for Best Publication in my final year.
