Anthony Hall, from Wolverhampton, is the man behind Calipso’s Circus, which rolls into The Grampian ‐ Corby on Friday 30th October for a special half-term performance.

To celebrate, readers can take advantage of a special returning offer: use promo code CIRCUS26 to receive tickets HALF-PRICE!(Please note: this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or on tickets already purchased).

The ambitious production brings the excitement and atmosphere of the circus onto the theatre stage, with an international cast performing a mixture of breath-taking circus skills, balancing, aerial acts, juggling, comedy and family entertainment.

Anthony, director of Calipso’s Circus, has spent 2026 taking the production to venues around the country and says bringing the show back to Corby is particularly special.

Anthony said: “After our last show in Corby back in April, we honestly can't wait to return to such a warm and welcoming audience.

“We’ve put so much work into creating a proper family show. I wanted something that children, parents, and grandparents could all come along to and enjoy together.

“There’s nothing quite like watching live circus performers right in front of you. We have some incredible talent in the show, lots of comedy, and plenty of moments that will have the audience on the edge of their seats.”

Presented by AJH Entertainments, the show features performers from around the world and combines the traditions of circus with a modern stage production.

Rather than appearing under a traditional big top, Calipso’s Circus transforms venues into its own circus arena, giving audiences the chance to experience the excitement of live circus from the comfort of a comfortable seat.

Anthony believes keeping live family entertainment accessible and affordable is more important than ever.

He added: “Children spend so much time looking at phones, tablets and televisions these days.

"There’s something very special about sitting in an audience and seeing these skills performed live.

“You see children’s faces light up, hear them laughing, and then watch them trying to work out how our performers do what they do. That’s the magic we want people to take home with them.

“We’ve also worked hard to keep tickets affordable. With our special CIRCUS26 promo code giving half-price tickets, we want as many families as possible to be able to come along and enjoy a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment together.

“If families are wondering what to do during half-term, come and join us. We want The Grampian absolutely buzzing.”

The half-term circus spectacular promises something for all generations, with an afternoon packed with colourful characters, comedy, spectacular skills, and impressive circus talent.
