The competition saw 24 enthusiastic children from Overstone Primary School take part, each showcasing their artistic talents. The team at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands selected three deserving winners who received vouchers for their designs. Taking first place was Halle (Year 6), followed by Neve (Year 4) in second place and Jacob (Year 6) in third place.

Stephanie Morton Bright, Year 2 teacher at Overstone Primary School, said: "Our pupils at Overstone Primary School were so excited to use their talent and creativity when designing the welcome cards, and we were very excited to work with Taylor Wimpey for the first time.

“We very much hope that the new homeowners enjoy seeing the welcome cards as they join our community in Overstone. Thank you to Taylor Wimpey for generously providing the winners’ prizes and for this opportunity!"

Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, said: “We are thrilled to have arranged this welcome card competition with Overstone Primary School. It’s been lovely to witness the hard work and creativity behind all of the children’s entries, and we hope our lucky winners enjoy their vouchers. We’re sure the welcome cards will put a smile on our residents' faces.”

The welcome card competition not only brought excitement to the children at Overstone Primary School but also served as a perfect example of the positive impact that collaboration between businesses and schools can have on local communities.
