The event will focus on the importance of family, heritage and belonging, bringing together people of all ages to reflect on their roots while building new connections within the community. Through music, dance, storytelling and shared experiences, visitors will have the opportunity to celebrate the traditions that have been passed down through generations and discover the rich cultural diversity that continues to shape Corby today.

Music will be at the heart of the celebration, with performances showcasing a variety of styles and traditions. From folk melodies and family-friendly entertainment, the programme aims to highlight the power of music to unite people across different backgrounds and generations.

Families will be encouraged to share their stories, memories and traditions, creating a vibrant atmosphere where connections between the past, present and future can flourish. The event will also provide opportunities for residents to meet new people, strengthen community ties and celebrate the values of friendship, respect and togetherness.

Roots and Connections is more than just a festival; it is a celebration of identity, community spirit and the relationships that help us grow. As families gather in Coronation Park on 5th July, the event promises to be a joyful reminder that while our roots may be different, our connections bring us together. WE NEED YOU ON SITE TOO
