Revisit the post-apocalyptic world of Panem as The Hunger Games returns to Vue Northampton this weekend
All five films in The Hungers Games franchise are returning to Vue Northampton ahead of the latest release in the series, Sunrise on the Reaping.
Fans of the saga can relive every moment of the dystopian series - from Katniss volunteering for tribute to the final battle for Panem - the way it was meant to be seen: on the big screen.
The original trilogy introduced audiences to the world of Panem and the annual Hunger Games, which sees tributes put forward compete to the death in a televised event.
Starring an ensemble cast - including Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland - the first film is screening from Friday 4 September.
The re-release coincides with National Cinema Weekend and, to mark the occasion, Vue is offering £4 tickets across all films and seats on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September — including The Hunger Games.
The entire season will last five weeks, concluding with The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes from 2 October.
Film lovers in Northampton can enjoy Vue’s biggest and comfiest seats, Ultra Lux. Strategically positioned to give the best possible view of the big screen, Ultra Lux seating also features an extra-wide armrest, personal table for snacks and beverages and a state-of-the-art wine cooler - the most luxurious way to immerse in a great story.
Scott Norgate, General Manager at Vue in Northampton, said: “Almost 20 years since we were first introduced to the world of Katniss Everwood, the Hunger Games continues to capture the heart and imagination of audiences across the world. For fans wanting to relive the story ahead of the latest release, our Hunger Games season is the perfect way to enjoy the films, with the ultimate seat, screen and sound experience.”
