The atmosphere at the academy, which is part of Brooke Weston Trust, was one of pride this morning as students and their families gathered to collect their grades and plan their next steps. Many are now preparing to join the Corby Technical School Sixth Form, while others are embarking on exciting new paths in further education, apprenticeships, and vocational training.

Angela Reynolds, Principal of Corby Technical School, said: "Today is a celebration of all that our students have achieved, both in their examinations and throughout their wider school journey. They should be proud of the determination, maturity and character they have shown along the way. We are delighted that many will be continuing their education with us in the sixth form, while others will be pursuing apprenticeships and other pathways. Whatever their next step, we wish them every success for the future."

Among those celebrating exceptional results are Aurelia W, who achieved an extraordinary nine Grade 9s, Laura W, who secured seven Grade 9s and two Grade 8s, Morgan F, who achieved six Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and one Grade 7, Lucas H, who earned four Grade 9s and four Grade 8s, and Bradley L, who achieved a Distinction* in iMedia alongside two Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and two Grade 7s and is one of many students who will be staying on at CTS sixth form to study their A levels.

The year group has also enjoyed significant success in securing competitive next steps, with students gaining places on specialised apprenticeship programmes, scholarship schemes and further study pathways. Notable examples include Filip C, who has secured an apprenticeship with Ford and Slater as an HGV technician which is the third consecutive year they have selected a student from CTS for the programme; Sophia C who has been awarded a place to study dance at ESPA in Stamford and Katie W who is off to Hartbury College, Hertfordshire to study Equine Care.  Other destinations for students at CTS this year include: The London Fashion Retail Academy, National College of Motorsport at Silverstone and the Loughborough College Sports Academy.  These achievements reflect the wide range of talents, aspirations and destinations across the cohort, and highlight the exciting opportunities that await students as they take their next steps.

Andy Burns, newly appointed CEO of Brooke Weston Trust, said: “Today, all of our students should feel really proud of everything they’ve achieved. They’ve explored new subjects, built friendships, and discovered passions over the past few years, which is what school is truly all about.

“Everyone at Corby Technical School, from our teachers to our support staff, has worked hard to help students secure their ‘tickets for life,’ making the most of every opportunity while encouraging each one to approach their studies with real ambition. I am also very grateful to all our families who have provided such vital support along the way. At Brooke Weston Trust, we value more than just grades; we believe that success is reached in many different ways, and I can’t wait to see where these achievements take our students in the future.”
