Northamptonshire’s first family wellness festival lands at Grendon Lakes

A new 4‑day wellness camp is coming to Grendon Lakes from 28 to 31 May 2026, marking the first festival of its kind in Northamptonshire. Istok Retreat Festival is designed for families and individuals who want to step away from the rush of everyday life and spend time resting, reconnecting and feeling more like themselves.

Over four days, guests are invited to slow down and enjoy a gentle, alcohol‑free programme of yoga, breathwork, sound journeys, movement and workshops, all held in the peaceful setting of Grendon Lakes. The focus is on wellbeing, presence and community, with space to listen, share and simply be together.

Local therapists, coaches, holistic practitioners, artists, musicians and small ethical businesses have come together to co‑create something meaningful and heartfelt, reflecting the spirit of Northamptonshire’s growing wellness community. The entire event is run by volunteers, brought together by a shared belief in the power of connection and mindful living.

With space for up to 500 guests, Istok Retreat Festival offers an intimate, community‑led experience that prioritises connection over spectacle.
