Thomson Broadbent, which specialises in helping homeowners and landowners secure compensation relating to utility infrastructure and public works, is marking its 30th anniversary this month.

Founded in 1996, the business has grown into one of the UK's leading specialist property compensation consultancies. Over the past three decades, it has successfully negotiated more than 78,000 highway and public works compensation cases, along with more than 23,000 electricity infrastructure compensation cases in the last 5 years alone, supporting tens of thousands of clients across the country.

The milestone comes during another successful year for the business, which recently relocated to newer offices at Corby Gate Business Park to support its continued growth and welcomed two new members of staff to its expanding team.

James Broadbent, Managing Director at Thomson Broadbent, said: "Reaching 30 years in business is a milestone we're incredibly proud of and reflects the hard work and dedication of everyone who has been part of Thomson Broadbent over the years.

"While a lot has changed since 1996, our purpose has remained exactly the same – helping people understand their rights and secure the compensation they're entitled to.

"It's particularly pleasing to celebrate this anniversary during such a positive period for the business. We've continued to grow our team, invested in new premises here in Corby and are seeing increasing demand for our specialist expertise from homeowners and landowners across the UK.

"Being based in Northamptonshire has always been an important part of who we are. We're proud to have built a national reputation from our Corby headquarters, and we're excited to continue growing the business over the years ahead."

Today, Thomson Broadbent advises homeowners, landowners and businesses on a wide range of property compensation matters, including wayleaves, easements, compulsory purchase and electricity infrastructure, combining specialist surveying expertise with a personal, client-focused approach.

As the company celebrates its 30th anniversary, its focus remains firmly on the future, with continued investment in its people, its services and its Northamptonshire headquarters as it supports clients across the UK.
