Northamptonshire housebuilder announces partnership with local football team

Oundle Town U8s Girls team is celebrating its brand-new football kit, proudly sponsored by David Wilson Homes.

The team has been playing together for the past three years, competing in the Cambridgeshire Women’s and Girls County Football League U9 Earps division.

With training sessions held every Friday evening and matches taking place every Saturday morning, the team truly dedicate their weekends to the game. Each match reflects their commitment to the sport and strong team spirit. 

Phil Millward, Coach of Oundle Town U8s Girls team, said: “We are incredibly grateful and thankful for the generous donation from David Wilson Homes. This support means a great deal to everyone involved with the Oundle Town U8 Girls team.

“The sponsorship has made a huge difference. It helps the girls look and feel like a real team, boosting their confidence and sense of belonging to the squad. The girls absolutely love their new kit and are so proud to wear it.

“Supporting local communities shows that housebuilders genuinely care about the areas they invest in and the people who live there. It helps build strong, positive relationships within Oundle and its community.”

Oundle Town U8s Girls team, located near David Wilson Homes’ River View at Oundle development, has received £1,500 which has funded a full playing kit and training jacket for each player.
