Northampton team takes on muddy Wolf Run challenge to support Saints Foundation
A team from Northampton-based manufacturer Horiba UK swapped the office for mud, water and obstacles earlier this year as they tackled the Spring Wolf Run in support of the Northampton Saints Foundation.

The group joined thousands of participants in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire this April for the popular obstacle event, which combined running with climbing, water crossings and team-based challenges.

Taking on the demanding 5K course, the Horiba UK team has so far raised over £1,300 in vital funds for the Foundation, which uses the power of sport and rugby’s core values to inspire, support and educate people across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
Through its programmes, the charity works with some of the region’s most vulnerable children, young people and adults, helping them build confidence, develop life skills and overcome barriers to education and opportunity.
The Wolf Run, now in its 15th year, has grown into one of the UK’s best-known obstacle events, attracting tens of thousands of participants across its three annual events, including many corporate teams such as Horiba UK.
Every pound raised by team Horiba UK is going directly towards the Foundation’s life-changing programmes, from supporting young people facing barriers to education, to creating opportunities for those who need it most.
To boost fundraising efforts, Horiba UK has pledged to match donations up to £250 per participant. You can still donate here: https://givestar.io/team/horiba-uk
Many other teams across the country are teaming up for Wolf Run’s next edition, Summer Wolf, which takes place in Stanford Hall estate, Leicestershire, from 13-14 June. The event also promises a lively, festival-style atmosphere, with music, food and activities for both runners and spectators.
Charlie Moreton, Founder at The Wolf Run said: “Summer Wolf is always a brilliant weekend. It’s about getting stuck in, having a laugh and challenging yourself, whether you’re coming on your own or as part of a group.
“We see a real mix of people taking part and coming along. It’s as much about the day out as it is the course itself.”
5k and 10k entries remain for Summer Wolf, with Junior Wolf very close to sell-out. Visit www.thewolfrun.com
