Speaking of his success, Rehan said: “The effort I put into my results isn’t just mine alone. It is the work of every teacher at Montsaye Academy who have wholeheartedly supported me on my journey, for whom I don’t have enough words to thank.”

Milly added: “I am so happy! It has made all my hard work in the past two years’ worth it!”

Tyler commented: “I’m really proud of the results I got. I am very grateful for the support that I have received.”

With their GCSEs secured, many of the Year 11 cohort are preparing to return to the school's Sixth Form in September. They will be looking to follow in the path of their peers who celebrated some strong A Level results last week, enabling them to secure their next steps, including to top Russell Group universities.

Gopal Baria, Interim Principal at Montsaye Academy, said: “Today is a day of celebration for our Year 11 students, whose GCSE results reflect the commitment, perseverance and ambition they have shown throughout their time at the Academy. They have navigated challenges, embraced opportunities and worked hard to achieve outcomes of which they should be proud.

“As a school, we have been on a significant journey of improvement over recent years, and these results provide further evidence of the positive impact of the changes we have made and the direction in which the Academy is moving. While we know there is still more to do as we strive for even higher standards, these results mark an important milestone in our journey and give us great confidence for the future.

“Many of our students will now continue their educational journey with us in our thriving Sixth Form, and we are excited to see them build on the strong foundations established at GCSE. For those pursuing opportunities elsewhere, we wish them every success for the future.”
