Marketing manager Elaine wins it for Northants bus operator

Northamptonshire bus operator, Stagecoach Midlands, is celebrating after a key member of its team was revealed as a winner at the UK’s biggest bus operator’s national awards scheme.

Popular Marketing Manager, Elaine Mortimer, was named as the winner of a Stagecoach Excellence Award, from more than 25,000 colleagues across the country, at a glitzy Awards Ceremony.

Elaine won the award in the category of We Plan For The Future after the judges decided that she consistently demonstrates proactive, forward-thinking behaviour that embody Stagecoach’s company values.

She is known to be highly data-driven, always looking ahead to identify opportunities to improve results and processes. Beyond her technical expertise, she was found to be an excellent colleague and trusted friend to her teammates – both approachable and thoughtful.

Over the past 12 months, Elaine has made a significant impact through her work with Stagecoach’s Employee Engagement Group, where she has helped identify team needs early and shape initiatives that improve engagement and collaboration.

The judges concluded: “The impact of Elaine’s work has been tangible. The templates and guidance documents, she has delivered, are already streamlining workflows, introducing efficiencies and encouraging colleagues to adopt a more data-first, results-driven mindset.”
