Local psychologist launches Neuro-Nest to support families across Thrapston and East Northamptonshire

A local HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist is helping to improve access to neurodevelopmental assessments and psychological support for families across Thrapston and the surrounding area through her independent practice, Neuro Nest Psychology.
Based in Thrapston, Neuro Nest was founded by Gemma Thomson, who brings more than 15 years of NHS experience working across mental health, neurodevelopmental services, and forensic psychology. The service was created in response to growing demand for accessible, high-quality ADHD and Autism assessments, alongside the lengthy waiting times many families currently face when seeking support. Long waiting periods can leave families feeling uncertain and unsupported while trying to understand their child's needs.
Neuro Nest provides comprehensive ADHD assessments for both children and adults, alongside autism screening, psychological consultation, and post-diagnostic support. Assessments follow recognised clinical guidelines and are designed to provide families with a clear understanding of an individual's strengths, challenges, and support needs.
