Local care home to host Strawberry Afternoon Tea in aid of The Pink Ribbon Foundation
Claremont Parkway Care Home in Kettering is inviting the local community and professionals to a special Strawberry Afternoon Tea fundraiser on Wednesday, 26th August 2026, starting at 2:30 PM. The event aims to raise vital funds and advocate for breast cancer awareness in partnership with The Pink Ribbon Foundation.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a financial grant-making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities that relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by, breast cancer.
The afternoon will bring together an array of local leaders, healthcare professionals, and community groups. Attendees will include Deputy Mayor Councillor Andy Byatt from Kettering Town Council, representatives from the Kettering Breast Screening Unit, and specialist breast care nurses from Kettering General Hospital. They will be joined by Community Champions from both Tesco and Asda who are generously donating raffle prizes, representatives from the Kettering and District Lions Club, who will be promoting their “Message In A Bottle scheme”, and Tamara from 'Fitted by Tamara' who will be providing information on her unique, personal bra-fitting service.
To maximise fundraising for this worthy cause, Claremont Parkway is actively appealing to local businesses in the Kettering area to donate raffle prizes. Interested businesses are encouraged to get in touch with the care home directly to contribute to the raffle.
Due to high demand and limited spacing, booking is strictly essential for all attendees. Members of the community and local professionals looking to secure a seat should contact the care home immediately to avoid disappointment
