Local businesses and residents invited to free Start Up & SME Exhibition in Corby
Local Micro Network event will bring together small businesses, charities and service providers on Thursday 12th November, with free entry for visitors.
Local businesses, entrepreneurs and residents are being invited to discover what's on offer in the local business community when the Local Micro Network Start Up & SME Exhibition arrives at voco Rockingham Forest Hotel in Corby on Thursday 12 November 2026.
Organised by Polka Dot Events under its Local Micro Network brand, the exhibition aims to bring together start-ups, micro businesses, freelancers and small and medium-sized enterprises, creating opportunities to showcase businesses, meet new people and build valuable local connections.
Proudly sponsored by Northants Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature a varied mix of exhibitors offering products, services and support to both businesses and the wider public.
And organisers are keen to emphasise that visitors do not need to own a business to attend.
From travel and mortgage advice to insurance, utilities, charities and business services, the exhibition will give visitors the chance to discover organisations operating in the local area, speak directly with representatives and explore services that could be useful to them.
Visitor entry is completely free, making it an accessible opportunity for local residents to come along, browse the exhibition and support local businesses.
Kerry Baker, owner of Polka Dot Events and the team behind Local Micro Network, said: “We want the exhibition to be somewhere people can come together, discover something new and make connections. It's not just about businesses networking with one another, it's also about helping local people discover the businesses, services and organisations on their doorstep.
“Whether you're running a business, looking for a local service, thinking about starting something new or simply interested in seeing what's available in the area, we'd love you to come along.
“Small businesses are such an important part of our local economy, and events like this give them an opportunity to raise their profile, meet potential customers and build relationships that might otherwise never happen.”
The exhibition also offers businesses an opportunity to promote themselves directly to visitors and fellow exhibitors. With exhibitor stands starting from just £44.99, the event has been designed to provide an accessible option for smaller businesses looking to increase their visibility.
A limited number of exhibitor spaces remain available, and interested businesses are encouraged to get in touch promptly to avoid missing out.
The event will take place on Thursday 12 November 2026 at voco Rockingham Forest Hotel, Corby.
Visitors can attend free of charge, while businesses interested in exhibiting can contact the organisers for further information and booking details.
