Live cooking on the menu at renowned Northants store

Shoppers in Northamptonshire are being invited to attend a free foodie event at home and lifestyle hub Bell of Northampton this weekend, where they can watch live cooking, taste samples and see different barbecue brands in action.

Applauded for its range of immersive experiences, the Kingsthorpe Road store will be hosting its Sizzling Saturday experience on Saturday 25th April from 11am-3pm, which has been designed to help shoppers see different BBQ brands in action, so that they can choose the right grill with confidence.

Those signing up for the free-to-attend event can also expect a feast of tips, ideas and inspiration. Live cooking will be on the menu, alongside the opportunity to speak directly to grill experts from renowned brands including Weber, Broil King and Pitboss. There will also be some pizza topping action from the Bell team on the Clementi wood fired and Ooni gas pizza ovens.

“With the longer evenings, now is the perfect time to think ahead to firing up the BBQ and entertaining outdoors this summer – I know I’ve started already!” comments Tammy Pell, marketing & events co-ordinator at Bell.

“Our Big BBQ Bonanza proved really popular, so if you missed out our Sizzling Saturday event is your second chance to see what it’s all about.

“The event will give shoppers the chance to see different BBQ brands in action, watch live cooking, ask questions, compare grills and get ready for the summer BBQ season. They can also browse our newly launched YETI shop, featuring drinkware, food ware, and outdoor accessories.

“It definitely promises to be an event not to be missed. And it’s worth noting that if customers do register to attend, they could win a BBQ Shop goody bag worth over £100!”
