Kettering mug maker launches Northamptonshire Christmas range ahead of Small Business Saturday
A Kettering man has launched a mug brand that pokes affectionate fun at Northamptonshire, just in time for Christmas.

Sam Rogers set up Cuppa Cheek this autumn. Its first range includes a "Put the Kettle On, it's Christmas in Kettering" mug, a Northampton design showing the Lift Tower in the snow, and an "Ay Up Merry Christmas Me Duck" mug celebrating East Midlands slang. There are also mugs for Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Oundle and Thrapston.
"Everyone's got a mate who's moved away and misses home," said Sam. "I wanted to make something cheeky and local for Secret Santa that you can't pick up in the big shops."

The mugs cost £12.99 with free UK delivery from etsy.com/uk/shop/CuppaCheek, and Sam is backing Small Business Saturday on 5 December, encouraging people to shop with small local makers this Christmas.
