In September 2026, 1st Bletchley Company of the Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association reaches a major milestone—100 years serving young people in the local community.

Founded in 1926 with just eleven boys meeting behind Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, the Company has since welcomed thousands through its doors, offering everything from camps and sport to music, drama and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

As part of the centenary celebrations on 26th–27th September, plans are underway for a weekend of events including an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia, alongside a special church service. And we, hope, a past members’ band.

But above all, this is about reconnecting.

If you were ever part of 1st Bletchley, or its sister Girls’ Brigade company, the Company would love to hear from you. Whether your memories are recent or from decades ago, this is a chance to reconnect with old friends and be part of a once‑in‑a‑century occasion.

As the Company looks ahead to its second century, the centenary weekend promises to be a fitting celebration of everything that has come before—and everyone who has been part of it.
