Hundreds of Corby Community Members join the Northampton British Bangladeshi Business & Chamber to receive their prestigious award.
Today (Sunday 29th March), NBBBC awarded Chairman Of Corby Muslim Community Eyusuf Chaudhury for one of their prestigious awards to recognise his involvement towards community work in Northamptonshire.
The award was presented by Jane Birch (Mayor of Northampton) along with many other distinguished guests such as: James Saunders Watson (HM Lord-Lieuntenant of Northamptonshire), Lord Rami Ranger FRSA (House of Parliament) and more across the UK.
After recieving the award, Eyusuf Chaudhury (Chairman of CMA) said: "I am truly blessed and humbled for this wonderful recognition, but what was more wonderful was having my Corby Community support me on this day and to the 100+ brothers, sisters and youngsters that joined me today at the University of Northampton despite the unfortunate weather they managed to stay to the end to enjoy this moment with me and I would like to dedicate this award to them. I would like to show my gratitude to the Organisers of this event such as: Cllr Naz Islam (President of NBBBC), Mujibur Rahman (Secretary of NBBBC), Prince Sadiq Chaudhury LL.M (Treasurer of NBBBC), Tipu Rahman (Senior Vice President of NBBBC) and the rest of the team. Finally, I would like to thank our Local MP Lee Barron (Corby & East Northamptonshire) and his family for coming to show their support towards me and my Corby community".
