Jonny first started dancing at the age of 5 at a local dance school run by his mum, Thrive Dance Academy.
Jonny very quickly became and passionate about ballet and successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet School Junior associates . During his time as an associate he performed with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in The Nutcracker.

At 11 years old Jonny successfully auditioned for a full time boarding place at the prestigious Royal Ballet school, Richmond Park. He studied there for 3 years and during that time was awarded the ballet prize for progress and endeavour alongside performing with The Royal Ballet company in The Nutcracker.
At 14 Jonny was accepted into Tring Park School For the performing arts with a Music and dance scheme scholarship to help with part of the fees. During this time he has passed his RAD Intermediate and Advanced 1 ballet exam with High Distinctions. He was asked by the artistic director of the RAD ( Royal Academy of Dance) to participate in the re filming of the grades which would go out to teachers worldwide - what an honour. Jonny was also offered the opportunity to participate in the world famous RAD Fonteyn competition this year.
It is now time for the next part of his upper school training and Jonny will be starting this journey at the prestigious English National Ballet school where he was offered a place after several rounds of auditions against hundreds of applicants. This part of the journey will prove to be the most expensive part as there is little government help. With yearly fees reaching 23k and student accommodation in London ( Chelsea) costing nearly 12k a year without food, living expenses, £800 on uniform/equipment, £1300 on private health care for dance students , it is proving costly! We are seeking help from any potential sponsors local to Stanwick or Northamptonshire . If his story resonates with you and you would like to donate to his training he would be incredibly grateful.
