"Times have changed since we last performed the show”
GLJ Theatre is proud to present the story of ALICE IN WONDERLAND for everyone to enjoy! Every year GLJ THEATRE works in partnership with GLAMIS HALL, WELLINGBOROUGH to create a summer musical for all families to enjoy. 2026 see's GLJ THEATRE celebrating it's 10th anniversary and so has revisited some of its favourite shows from the past ten years. Gary L Johnson - Artistic Director of GLJ THEATRE said "The one show we've always been asked to do again is ALICE THE MUSICAL. It's a wonderful version of the classic Lewis Carroll story brought to life by PAUL BOYD". We performed the show back in 2017 and ever since people have wanted it again..." Gary explained how the show is completely different since they last performed the show "Times have changed since we last performed the show... audiences have changed, and the young people performing have changed - they are more sharp and want more cutting edge storytelling - which works perfect in this modern take on the story". Since the previous production GLJ THEATRE has been busy and brought many magical performances to the stage including MATILDA JR, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and SEUSSICAL JR to name a few. GLJ Theatre also runs weekly theatre sessions for all 4-18 year olds at GLAMIS HALL. "The 10th anniversary celebrations are not over when we leave Wonderland" explained Gary "... We still have our BEST IN BLOOM SHOW and our SUMMER PANTO - A TRIP TO PIGEON ISLAND"! For more information about GLJ THEATRE visit www.garyljohnson.co.uk/gljtheatre
