Exercise can be fun
The residents of Claremont were this morning treated to a fun exercise session with Ellie from Home.FitVitality, who provide specialist fitness sessions for care homes, led by qualified trainers who make movement fun and accessible.

Activities such as light stretching to music, ball throwing, hoopla and balloon tennis can all help to improve mobility, balance and circulation.
Besides the physical benefits that it promotes, gentle exercise can also boost a person's mood, reduce feelings of anxiety and also encourages social interaction and a sense of community.

This mornings session was full of energy and smiles, with a variety of fun games and activities designed to keep everyone moving and engaged. From gentle seated exercises to interactive games, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Its always lovely to see the residents staying active, having fun and supporting each other along the way. This morning's session brought smiles, lots of laughter and singing, to all the residents who took part in the session.
