ELM BANK CARE HOME CELEBRATES ST PATRICKS DAY WITH A SYMPHONY OF STRINGS!
Residents and staff at Elm Bank care home in Kettering enjoyed an unforgettable St Patrick's Day celebration with music, memories and sweet treats.
Residents and staff were treated to a lively celebration filled with music, nostalgia, and delicious treats. The day was made perfect and made even more special with a live performance from local duo ‘Two of Diamonds’ who delivered a fantastic lively afternoon of music, song and dance with their beautiful blend of guitar and violin.

Rob and Sally performed many classical Irish tunes accompanied by the history of the song, sharing their knowledge with all. It was very hard for anyone to remain still in their seats as the sound of the guitar and violin filled the room. No afternoon is complete without sweet treats, for this the chefs at the home prepared delicious cupcakes with frosted green icing which went down very well with all.
Activities co-ordinator Tina said: “Rob and Sally created such a magical afternoon for all our residents, and everyone was dancing to the music in their seats, it was hard not to!”

General manager Larisa Bledea said: “What a wonderful afternoon of celebrations was had here at the home. As a home we enjoy celebrating key dates in the year and this lively afternoon was perfect.”
