Corby entrepreneur secures Harrods Pharmacy listing for wellness brand

A Corby-based entrepreneur secured a place inside Harrods Pharmacy within the same month of launching his new wellness brand, after turning a personal experience of burnout into a fast-growing business.

Jak Leese launched NEU+ in February 2026, developing a ready-to-drink supplement designed to support energy and recovery. By the end of that same month, the product had been accepted into Harrods in London. Since then, more than 1,000 units have been sold in-store, alongside over 500 direct online orders. The early placement has positioned NEU+ within a growing category of wellness brands focused on practical approaches to energy and recovery.

Leese said the idea for the business emerged during a period of sustained physical and mental strain while balancing elite HYROX training alongside business commitments and family life.

“I spent years doing too much,” he said. “Training, building businesses, showing up for everything, and never giving my body what it needed to keep up. I thought I was performing at a high level, but I wasn’t recovering, and eventually I crashed.”

During that period, he explored NAD+ therapy, a treatment linked to energy production and cellular repair.

“When I needed NAD+, it cost me £400 for a single IV session,” he said. “It worked, but I remember thinking, what about everyone who can’t afford that, or doesn’t have the time to sit in a clinic for hours?”

That question became the basis for NEU+, developed to make a clinically studied concept more accessible for everyday use. The product uses Nicotinamide Riboside, a form of vitamin B3 researched for its role in supporting NAD+ levels, delivered in a ready-to-drink format intended for daily use. Leese said the aim was to reduce barriers to access.

“There are a lot of advanced wellness solutions out there, but most people can’t realistically access them,” he said. “I wanted something that fits into a normal routine.”

Securing Harrods Pharmacy so early in the brand’s development is unusual for a newly launched product and places NEU+ in front of a high-footfall retail setting. Leese said the focus is on consistency of use rather than positioning.

“It comes down to daily habits,” he said. “It’s not about extreme interventions.”

Beyond retail, NEU+ is building traction within fitness and performance communities, supported by ambassador Johnny Nelson MBE and HYROX athletes including Kate Davey and Jon Wynn.

The brand has also taken part in informal community activity including early morning runs and recovery-focused meet-ups. Leese said early customer response has been a key milestone.

“When you build something from a personal experience, there’s always a doubt that it might only work for you,” he said. “Seeing people you’ve never met getting results from it shows it has value beyond my own story.”

The business remains in its early stages, with a focus on further growth and retail expansion.

“The wellness space has a lot of noise,” he said. “It either works for people or it doesn’t.”

From its origins in a personal recovery experience to its rapid arrival on the shelves of Harrods, NEU+ has moved quickly from concept to commercial product. Leese said the principle behind the brand has remained unchanged.

“Your body’s got to take you somewhere,” he said. “So it makes sense to look after what’s underneath the surface.”
