Boughton Revealed: New experiences launch at Boughton House this July
Boughton House, near Kettering, is giving visitors four new reasons to visit this July, with Sunday yoga on the Great Court, family-friendly Summer Wandering Trails, a new Afternoon Tea offering in the Stableyard Tearoom and Landscape Walks to newly restored The Star Pond.

Part of the wider Boughton Revealed season, the July programme brings together outdoor wellbeing, family discovery, seasonal food and summer days exploring the Estate’s gardens, parkland and restored historic landscape.
Visitors can start the day with a beginner-friendly yoga session, set off on a new family trail with a £1 activity booklet, or round off a garden visit with Sunday Afternoon Tea created by Vice Puddings.

The new Summer Wandering Trails, starting on 11th July, invite families to follow a different themed route each week, uncovering fascinating facts about the Estate, its wildlife and natural surroundings.
Also new for 2026, beginner-friendly outdoor yoga sessions take place on Sundays throughout July on the Great Court, offering a calm and uplifting way to experience Boughton’s setting.
Visitors can also enjoy the new Sunday Afternoon Tea in the Stableyard Tearoom, created by Vice Puddings. Available on Sundays throughout July, it includes a selection of sweet and savoury treats, limitless tea and filter coffee, with the option to add a glass of Prosecco.
Visitors can enjoy Landscape Walks to the beautifully restored Star Pond with Parks & Gardens Manager Dave Cullum on 6th or 20th July, or explore on their own, admiring how it is once again one of Boughton’s most distinctive landscape features. The tranquil setting offers a peaceful place to watch the water, enjoy the surrounding views and look out for swans and other wildlife.
Looking ahead, August will bring more opportunities to step inside Boughton House, with guided house tours and a new exhibition by Catherine Goodman CBE. In the House of Tapestries, a major exhibition of paintings, drawings and tapestries by the British artist, will be on show in August with House entry.
Charles Lister, House Manager for Boughton House, said: “July is the perfect time to enjoy something new at Boughton, whether that’s a peaceful yoga session on the Great Court, a family adventure through the Summer Wandering Trails or a relaxed Afternoon Tea in the Stableyard Tearoom. It is a lovely way to experience the Estate at a slower summer pace.”
Boughton Gardens are open Saturday to Monday in July, 11am until 5pm, from Sunday 5 July.
