Bosworth Independent School students celebrate GCSE success
“Today, we celebrate every student receiving their GCSE results”
Students at Bosworth Independent School in Northampton are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results, marking the culmination of two years of hard work, determination and academic progress.
The independent day and boarding school have reported another positive set of results including:
27% of all grades at 9-7
32% of grades in Mathematics at 9-7
100% of grades in French at 9
35% of grades in Physics at 9-7
The results reflect Bosworth’s highly personalised approach to education and its focus on understanding each student as an individual and providing the academic and pastoral support they need to make progress and achieve their potential.
Headteacher Tony Oulton said, “Today, we celebrate every student receiving their GCSE results. Their achievements reflect the focus, perseverance and ambition they have shown throughout their studies.
“It has been a privilege to see them grow in confidence, supported by the expertise, encouragement and care of the entire Bosworth community. I congratulate them all and wish them every success as they take their next steps.”
Based in the heart of Northampton, Bosworth Independent School provides education for day and boarding students from Year 7 through to Sixth Form.
Its relatively small size allows teachers and pastoral staff to know students individually and tailor support around their strengths, needs and ambitions, while its diverse international community gives local students the opportunity to learn alongside young people from around the world.
For many of this year’s GCSE students, the next step will be to continue their studies at Bosworth Sixth Form, joining students from Northamptonshire, across the UK and overseas to study A Levels in a supportive and academically ambitious environment.
