Bluebell Lakes announces first-ever tackle shop open day
Iconic UK Carp Fishery Opens Its Doors for a Huge Celebration of Angling on Saturday 16 May
After 34 years at the heart of British carp fishing, Bluebell Lakes is proud to announce its very first Tackle Shop Open Day! A landmark event celebrating the fishery’s long standing reputation as one of the UK’s most iconic carp fishing destinations.
Taking place on Saturday 16 May from 10am until 4pm, the free-to-attend event promises a full day of exclusive offers, live demonstrations, giveaways, and the chance to meet some of the biggest names in the angling industry.
Located in the stunning Northamptonshire countryside, Bluebell Lakes has built a legendary reputation over more than three decades for its huge carp, breathtaking scenery, and traditional “old school” angling experience. The family-run fishery welcomes anglers 51 weeks of the year and offers day-ticket carp fishing across five lakes catering to all ages, abilities, and experience levels.
Bluebell Lakes is also known worldwide for producing some of the country’s most famous carp — including the legendary “Benson”, one of the UK’s most iconic carp, which grew to over 60lbs and became a household name within the angling community.
The fishery’s tackle shop now stocks more than 4,000 products and the Open Day will bring together some of the biggest and most respected brands in fishing.
Visitors can expect representatives and experts from leading tackle brands including Thinking Anglers, Trakker, Nash, Ridge Monkey, and Gardner, alongside top bait companies such as Sticky Baits, JH Baits, CC Moore, and Dynamite Baits.
Throughout the day there will be:
Live long-distance casting demonstrations
Bait boat demonstrations on the water
Opportunities to meet and chat with industry experts
Exclusive bait bundles and major discounts
Huge giveaways and raffle prizes
Every customer who spends just £10 in the tackle shop will automatically be entered into a prize raffle featuring some incredible angling prizes.
