Greenbelt Festival 2026 is going to be one to remember. This August it's all about letting it all go and making the most of every precious moment, one last time, before this much-loved festival moves from beautiful Boughton House to fields anew.
Greenbelt has always been more than a venue; it’s somewhere to believe in and somewhere to belong, wherever it calls home. Greenbelt welcomes anyone and everyone, it’s a place where people come together to dream of a better world.
So, join us in the fields for one last Greenbelt x Boughton House – hurrah!

Arrested Development - just everyday people
Party-starters and iconic hip hop trailblazers Arrested Development have been on Greenbelt’s wishlist for many years. Fronted by artist and campaigning troubadour, Speech, the band wear their social conscience and faith firmly on their sleeves. Don’t miss their incredible festival set as they close our last ever festival at Boughton House. What a way to go out!

The Proclaimers - who wouldn’t walk 500 miles to see these legends?
Twins Charlie and Craig first performed at Greenbelt way back in 1988, when the Radio 1 Roadshow came live from the festival. They performed again in 2012 and they’re back, complete with their wonderful live show, bringing us a singalong set packed with absolute bangers! See you at the main stage!

Grace Petrie - folk-rock cult hero
Grace Petrie, one of the UK’s foremost folk protest singer-songwriters of the modern era, and a firm festival favourite during Greenbelt’s time at Boughton, is back to mark the end of this epic era. Often described as a folk-rock cult hero, her soul-lifting show accompanied by the might of a full band is a passionate musical call for a fairer, more just society. Catch her on the main stage on Friday night.

Flamy Grant - here to slay
After taking the festival by absolute storm in 2024 – whether tearing up mainstage, at Communion, in conversation in the Hope & Anchor, or doing stand-up – Flamy returns to Greenbelt this summer to sing out our time at Boughton. Drag queen and icon – what’s not to love?

IDEAS, ACTIVISM & CONVERSATION
Charlotte Church - a fabulous faithful in more ways than one
Having the very brilliant Charlotte Church at this year’s festival is the icing on the cake. Greenbelt is thrilled to welcome this multi-million record selling artist to the fields this summer. She’ll be in conversation about her life, work and passions; leading a singing circle in the Shelter venue; and surprising us with a special pop-up performance at our closing-of-festival OK Chorale mass-eoke too. Charlotte has been increasingly taken up with activism in recent years, at the same time as resourcing education and wellness projects in her native Wales.

Jordan Stephens - the whole truth and nothing but…
After having to pull out last summer’s Greenbelt (when he landed a leading role in a play), Jordan promised he’d come back as soon as he could. And it turns out that’s this summer! Not only a successful musician and performer with the resurgent Rizzle Kicks, Jordan is a thinker, writer and speaker on issues around mental health and masculinity – and it’s in that guise that he comes to Greenbelt to share his heartfelt wisdom and insight. Check out his podcasts; WHOLETRUTH and Miss Me?

Cathy Newman – trailblazing truth-telling
Multi-award-winning broadcaster and writer, Cathy Newmand was Channel 4 News’ first female anchor and spent 20 years with the programme before moving to Sky News this April.

Cathy will be in conversation with journalist Andrew Graystone about the changing relationship between politics, news and truth; the role of journalism in changing times; misogyny in and out of the industry; and whether she has a vendetta against the church.

Perhaps her biggest ‘scoop’ was an eight-year investigation unmasking the most prolific abuser in the Church of England, barrister John Smyth, that led to the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, being forced out of office.

Ann Pettifor – prophetic economist
The remarkable Ann Pettifor is considered one of the most prophetic (and often ignored) economic voices of recent times, most famously predicting the global financial crash of 2008 in her book, ‘The Coming First World Debt Crisis’. Ann will be discussing her new book, The Global Casino; an insightful and intelligent clarion call for a more just, equitable and less indebted way of living and organising the world’s business affairs.

Carrie Grant – the power of silent protest
Carrie Grant, now an ordained minister, has been on a wild and wonderful Christian faith journey which has seen her deconstruct almost everything only to find herself pastoring a wildly inclusive church community in her own home – The Space.

She comes to Greenbelt with that community and a gathering called ‘Lament’ – a practice she has developed together with The Space as a response to the overwhelming times we find ourselves living in; one in which we will be invited to experience silence as protest. Drawing on what post-genocide Congolese theologian Emmanuel Katangole describes lament as being: a place where we can “dwell in the ruins” and ask “what happened here?”

PERFORMING ARTS, SPOKEN WORD & COMEDY
Harry Baker – master of wit and wizardary
Harry Baker returns once again to Greenbelt, the festival he loves (and that loves him back), with a show packed full of material from his new book. Times best-seller Tender explores the joys, wonder, euphoria, panic and vulnerability of first-time parenthood all wrapped up in Harry’s unique blend of wordplay wit and poetic wizardry.

Pádraig Ó Tuama – poetry in motion
Irish poet, theologian, Poet in Residence with the Conflict and Cooperation Centre at Columbia University in NYC, and presenter of the most successful poetry podcast in the world, Poetry Unbound, Pádraig is returning to Greenbelt to share another ‘pilgrimage of heart’ at this year’s festival.

Testament – one-of-kind talent
Let’s hear it for rapper, composer and playwright, Testament, who’ll be bringing his new one-person show, Saints on a Bridge, to Greenbelt. A story both personal and political, it explores Testament’s relationship with church growing up and his experience of racism and lingering colonialism. Acclaimed writer of award-winning shows like Orpheus in the Record Shop and Woke, Testament is also a world-renowned beat-boxer and live-looper, bringing all this to bear in his latest opus. This is going to be something special.

Reggie Watts – international man of funny
Standing ovation please for Reggie Watts! This internationally renowned musician, comedian, writer and actor most recently starred as the bandleader on CBS’s The Late Show with James Corden. His performances are always 100% improvised, blending and blurring the line between music and comedy. Described as the ‘most influential absurdist in comedy today’ Reggie will be taking to the Hot House and Canopy stages on Friday night. Don’t miss out!

Ria Lina - comedian, virologist, commentary, mother
The incredibly talented Ria Lina will be headlining Greenbelt’s Comedy Club after-hours show on Friday and Saturday at the festival’s Forum venue. Named by The Evening Standard as one of the ‘Hottest Comedians You Should Be Watching Now’, Ria’s dry wit and social commentary is not only hilarious but brilliantly clever.

The former-forsensic-scientist-turned-stand-up-comedian (she has a Bachelors, a Masters, and a PHD under her belt!) is also a regular pundit on news channels such Sky News and BBC News and has recently released her own series on BBC R4, ‘Ria Gets Forensic’.

HOW DO I GET A TICKET?
Simple. Just click here! And what’s even better is Greenbelt is holding its 2026 tickets at 2025 prices. It’s all about creating a festival that’s as affordable, accessible and inclusive as possible.

WHAT’S GREENBELT’S PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN TICKETING STRUCTURE
Post-pandemic Greenbelt introduced a radical and inclusive pay-what-you-can ticketing model where those who can pay – do – and those who can’t – have the opportunity to pay what they can.

There’s just three simple price-points for adult tickets: Supported, Standard and Supporter. For Greenbelt 2026 adult weekend tickets will cost just £150 for those who choose the Supported price, £200 for the festival’s Standard ticket, and £250 for the pay-it-forward Supporter ticket. Young adults (age 18 to 25 years) tickets will start at £120, youth (12 - 17 years) from £50, children (5 - 11 years) from £25, and under 5s are free.

You can also spread the cost - buy now, pay later. The earlier you buy your tickets, the more months you can spread your costs over, completely interest-free. Buy before the end of April to make the most of the Easter deadline before prices increase in May!
