A day of celebration for students at Sharnbrook Academy as they receive excellent GCSE and vocational results
“I am so pleased for all the students today”
There were smiles, celebrations and plenty of proud moments at Sharnbrook Academy, part of Meridian Trust, as Year 11 students gathered to collect their GCSE and vocational results.

Clare Keating-Roberts, interim academy principal at Sharnbrook Academy, said: “We are delighted with this year's GCSE results, which show just how hard the students have worked over the years. I am so pleased for all the students today; many have met and exceeded their targets. I hope they all find time today to celebrate and feel proud of how far they have come.”
Notable achievements include Amelie G, who achieved an impressive ten grade 9s and two grade 8s. She will continue her studies at Sharnbrook Academy. Lolita V, Jess S, Robert W and Ayla D also achieved a number of exceptional grades and will continue their studies at Sharnbrook in a range of subjects such as biology, history, maths, physics, further maths and English literature.

Clare added: “I would like to thank our dedicated staff and supportive families for the important role they have played in helping our young people succeed. We look forward to seeing our students thrive as they continue their educational journey, whether within our Sixth Form or along their chosen post-16 pathway.”
Mark Woods, CEO of Meridian Trust, said: “Today we celebrate the hard work and resilience of the Year 11 students receiving GCSE and vocational results across Meridian Trust. On behalf of everyone at Meridian Trust, congratulations to staff, students and their families on this milestone.
