After changes to government guidelines, Northamptonshire’s Boughton House is gearing up for its annual Christmas Tree event, which starts this Saturday.

The estate, home to the Duke of Buccleuch, will be helping visitors craft their perfect Christmas, offering everything from real Nordmann Fir Christmas trees to quality gifts

This year Boughton will have a selection of Nordmann Fir Christmas trees between 4ft and 9ft to choose from. There will also be a selection of smaller potted trees and unique Christmas Tree stands.

Locally sourced wreaths will be on offer, along with Boughton Honey, Northamptonshire’s finest Harrington Gin and Two Birds Vodka of Market Harborough.

And the estate’s gift shop, quaintly located in an 18th-century stable block, will also be filled with festive decorations and original gift ideas for the whole family.

Lisa Brack, operations manager at Boughton House, said: “We look forward to welcoming visitors to our Christmas event to enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful estate while they stock up on festive supplies.”

“From families picking out their perfect Christmas tree to those selecting something special to gift to their loved ones, we hope to spread some Christmas cheer in these strange times.”

Boughton has also decided to open its Gardens for visitors coming anyway for a tree. With wide-open parkland, and unique architectural elements, it is the perfect place to enjoy some fresh air. Christmas at Boughton will run from Saturday November 28 until Sunday December 13 between 10am and 5pm daily.
