Westlife dominated the charts during their career, becoming one of the world’s most successful bands of the last few decades.

They released 14 chart topping singles and sold more than 44 million records during their 14-year career.

The band released their self titled debut in 1999 with their tenth and final album Gravity released in 2010.

Speaking about the band’s career, Filan said Westlife “fulfilled all of our dreams 1,000 times over”.

Commenting on his UK tour, he added: “I am thrilled to be getting out on the road.

“This is going to be quite a tour. I am really proud of Right Here and now can’t wait to perform the new songs live, alongside some old favourites.

“I am very much looking forward to coming to Northampton.

“For me, there is nothing quite like the moment I see the audience singing along to the songs I wrote and I hope the Right Here Tour will be just as memorable, just as special. I cannot wait to see all the fans again.”

Support is by Northampton singer songwriter Joe Miles. The youngest grandson of British jazz legend Terry Lightfoot, Miles teamed up with his brother Ollie last year to produce the EP Home Sound.

He said: “It’s a great opportunity to show some of the material I have been working on.

“I am so excited that the tour includes my home town.

“Shane is a fantastic artist with such an incredible history in the music industry, something I truly aspire to.”
