Trio of shows at the Derngate

Three nights of live music at the Royal & Derngate kick off on Saturday with renowned Fleetwood Mac tribute act, Rumours Of Fleetwood.

Having played to more than one million fans worldwide since they formed over a decade ago, the band is back with a new stage production celebrating the music of legendary rock supergroup.

The show is an epic journey through changing eras and musical styles of the band.

Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac return to the Derngate stage on Saturday, February 20. Doors open at 7.30pmand tickets cost £23.50.

The following night, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra continue its 2015-16 orchestral season with a concert of Wagner, Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Conductor Alan Buribayev will lead the orchestra and violinist Anna-Liisa Bezrodny will be performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.

Considered one of the most technically difficult works for the violin, the concerto culminates in one of the most thrilling finales in the classical repertoire. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs on Sunday, February 21. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets cost from £15 to £34.50, with concessions available.

Iconic Irish folk band The Dublin Legends (pictured) bring their foot-stomping hits to the venue on Monday.

In 2012 The Dubliners celebrated 50 years on the road but, following the sudden death of founding member Barney McKenna and John Sheahans’ decision to retire, it was agreed that The Dubliners, as a touring band, would come to an end and The Dublin Legends were born.

The band’s current line-up is Sean Cannon, Eamonn Campbell, Paul Watchorn and Gerry O’Connor.

Expect hits including Whiskey In The Jar, Dirty Old Town and The Wild Rover.

The Dublin Legends play the Northampton venue on Monday, February 22.

Doors open at 7.30pm.
