Legendary punks Stiff Little Fingers have again rescheduled their Roadmender gig and UK tour to next year because of the impact of the coronavirus.

The band originally started their UK tour in March last year and were set to headline the Northampton venue that month.

The tour was then rescheduled for September 2020 and again to March this year.

However, the band has now pushed their entire tour back to 2022.

Singer and guitarist Jake Burns said: “Where to begin? Firstly, we want to thank our audience for sticking with us on this and we hope all will be resolved soon and we can get back to what we do best.

“Also, many thanks to the promoters, agents and management who have worked so hard to move these dates around through nobody’s fault.

“And thanks also to our friends The Professionals, TV Smith and Neville Staple for staying with us till 2022. Stay Healthy and hope to see everyone soon.”

Stiff Little Fingers will kick off their 12-date UK tour in March next year in Bristol before heading to the Roadmender in Northampton on Monday, March 21.

All tickets from the originally scheduled shows are valid for the new dates.

Support at Northampton will be by The Professionals and TV Smith.

Tickets cost £22.50 before fees and are available from via www.seetickets.com/tour/stiff-little-fingers.
