Slay Duggee, who perform dressed as dogs, play sets of their own material as well as some well-known covers, all aimed at a young audience.

Phil Moore from SBD Promotions said: “This is a ‘parent-and-kids’ type of gig where families can bond over their love of loud sounds.

“The band are great and engage with all of the audience, young and old.

“In 15 years-time, you’ll be able to turn to your son or daughter and say, ‘yes, but remember I took you to your first rock show’.

“Slay Duggee shows have been really popular in the past when they’ve played elsewhere in the region.

“It’s something which is just a bit different, a gig full of under 10s and there’s face painting. Who doesn’t love that.”

Slay Duggee released the records My First Metal Album in 2019 and Kids Love Metal in 2018.

Both are available on regular streaming platforms.

The show, on Saturday, December 4, is for children under 10 years old who must be accompanied by parents or guardians throughout.

There will be face painting available for anyone who doesn’t arrive already in makeup and prizes for the best moshing and best painted face.

A limited number of ear defenders will be available at the show, but parents are advised to bring their own for their children.

Doors at the Kettering Road venue will open at 1pm and the show runs until 3pm.

Face painting will be available before doors open.
