Pete Tong and The Heritage Orchestra to bring Ibiza club hits to Franklin’s Gardens
Pete Tong & The Heritage Orchestra will be transforming Franklin’s Gardens into the sun-soaked White Isle with their ground-breaking take on Ibiza Classics next Summer.
The show is set to be a hedonistic night of nostalgia featuring huge club tracks and the freshest hits reimagined, coupled with incredible visual effects and the latest in music technology.
As the voice of BBC Radio 1’s prestigious dance programming, there are few individuals in the world of dance music who can claim the kind of influence Pete Tong has had over the last 20 years.
Tong has become the leading tastemaker of the electronic generation and while he’s known publicly as Pete Tong the DJ, behind the scenes, he’s an industry icon.
He said: “I think of all the time in my life and I can’t remember a time where I was more excited and looking forward to playing to the people who will be coming to watch Ibiza Classics at Franklin’s Gardens.
“After being locked down for over a year that energy is going to blow the place apart.”
With conductor Jules Buckley and The Heritage Orchestra, Ibiza Classics combines unparalleled production, awe inspiring visuals, a mix of new songs as well as your favourite club tracks from past decades.
Northampton Saints Chief Executive Mark Darbon said: “We’re delighted to welcome such an iconic DJ to Franklin’s Gardens next summer.
“Pete Tong and The Heritage Orchestra will bring a taste of the Ibiza club scene to our home turf and create a truly memorable live music experience.
“Music lovers can expect to hear a unique combination of throwback anthems and dance music’s trending songs, as well as a jaw dropping light show.
“Pete joins a growing list of blockbuster live music events hosted at Franklin’s Gardens in recent years, including pop royalty Lionel Ritchie and Madness.”
