Luna Rosa to play single release gig for new track The Luge

Corby post-punk quartet Luna Rosa are headlining The Steel Bar this weekend to celebrate the release of new single The Luge.

The new track, which was released last week, is their first new material since 2022’s EP Brutal Nature and has been released via Vandalism Begins at Home Records & Blaggers Records.

Talking about the track, the band said: “The Luge surges forward on a relentless motorik pulse - inspired by the all-gas-no-brakes urgency of The Walkmen's 'The Rat' and channelling the dance-punk lineage of the early 2000's NYC scene.

“It's intense, groove-driven and engineered to be constantly in your face.”

Support at the venue in Jimmy Kane Way, Corby, on Saturday, March 28, is by The Scenesters and Beings.

Tickets cost £8 in advance before fees.
