John's in motion for Wellingborough gig

One of the most successful footballers to play for both Liverpool and England will be visiting Wellingborough.

Talking Sport Events have organised An Evening with John Barnes at Silk on Friday May 13.

He started his professional career at Watford and gained some success before securing a move to Liverpool whom he played for from 1987 to 1997.

He won two top flight titles and two FA Cups during his time at Anfield before finishing his career at Newcastle and Charlton Athletic.

John has also had spells managing football clubs, taking charge at Scottish side Celtic, the Jamaican national side and Tranmere Rovers.

He has also carved out a media career with appearances on Who Do You Think You Are and Strictly Come Dancing.

Tickets are £30 each and includes a photo with Barnes and VIP tickets are £50 with an upgrade frame, front row seating, champagne entry and an early arrival.
