Guitar soloist teams up with symphony orchestra for show
Entitled Riviera Reveries the concert will take audiences from Cornwall (Arnold’s Four Cornish Dances) to Cuba (Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and many other destinations in between.
A highlight of the programme will be NSO’s performance with local soloist and teacher Graham Roberts, who began learning guitar with the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT).

Hide AdHe will take to the stage to play Rodrigo’s atmospheric Concierto de Aranjuez for guitar and orchestra.
As with all of the orchestra’s programmes this year, popular classics will be performed alongside lesser-known works.
The concert takes place at 7.30pm, St. Matthew’s Church in Northampton on Saturday.
Tickets are available online at www.nso.org.uk as well as on the door. Prices are £14 for adults and £12 for concessions. Two children can enter for free with each paying adult and it is £7 each thereafter.
