Gentleman's Dub Club headline Northampton venue

The Gentleman's Dub Club are bringing their electronic dub, ska and roots reggae sounds to The Picturedrome.

The nine piece formed in Leeds in 2006 and built their initial reputation through constant live touring.

Their first studio outing was the Members Only EP that went in at number one on the iTunes UK Reggae charts and was soon picked up by BBC DJs David Rodigan and MistaJam.

The band’s debut album FourtyFour was released in 2013 with is successor The Big Smoke following last year.

Over the years they have played at major festivals including Glastonbury, Germany’s Fusion Festival, Ostroda Reggae Festival in Poland and the Outlook Festival in Croatia while headlining venues including London’s Roundhouse and Croatia’s Pula Amphitheatre.

Gentlemen’s Dub Club play the Northampton venue on Saturday, October 7. Support is by Karl Phillips and The NGF Rejects. Tickets cost £15 in advance via Seetickets, the venue and Spiral Archive Records. Doors open at 8pm. Visit www.gentlemansdubclub.com
