Electric and visceral sounds come to Corby
The Core's monthly music showcase Lab Music Nights is back next week with headliners Ash Mammal from Leicester.
The four piece’s new album The Ghost We Caught On Film was released last month and their eclectic, visceral sound has been championed by the likes of BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music. Corby trio Dirty Money will open proceedings with a mixture of music by The Damned and The Clash as well their own original material.
Also on the bill is Taylor Smith who started her career busking in Milton Keynes.
This quickly turned into an inspired musical duo that set their sights on startling and enlightening the general public on stage and on the street.
Completing the line up is acoustic folk singer-songwriter Irene Rae who has toured the UK, supporting the likes of Midge Ure, Hazel O’Connor, John Power and The Levellers.
Lab Music Nights continue in The Lab at The Core on Friday, November 18. Doors open at 8pm, Tickets cost £4.50 in advance and £5.50 on the door.
