Earls Barton players raise charity funds

A comedy staged in Northants will entertain and raise funds for a good cause.

Cheshire Cats staged by Earls Barton based Under the Tower Drama from Thursday October 27 to 29.

The story is about a group of ladies who take part in a walk in aid of breast cancer charity and while it doesn’t sound like a set up for japes and jollification, a spokesman for the group said the show is hilarious with poignant moments. It doesn’t sound like a comedy but it is and at times, hilarious although with some very poignant moments.

A donation will be made to the charity CRAZY HATS.

The spokesman added: “We are very fortunate with cast and backstage team alike; they are all quite remarkable. Rehearsals have been fun and we are all looking forward to providing a ‘purr-fect’ evening of entertainment for our audiences.”

It takes place in Earls Barton’s Parish Church Hall. Tickets are £8.50 and available from Jeyes in the Square, Earls Barton and Lynda Hair Fashions, High Street, Earls Barton.
