Bands to compete for Bloodstock place in Northants Metal 2 The Masses final
Bands from across Northamptonshire will be competing for a place at this year’s Bloodstock festival this weekend in the final of Metal 2 The Masses.
Each year, Metal 2 The Masses takes place across the UK, giving rising rock and metal acts the chance to perform at the annual festival.

In recent months, acts from across the county have been battling it out in heats and semi-finals at the Olde England and Ye Gold Lion in Wellingborough and on Saturday, the final will take place in Rushden.
The six bands performing are Elysian Divide, Garrotte, Dead Bait, Last Chance, Curbed and Play The Victim.
There will also be a performance by last year’s winners Backseat Juliet and support by previous regional winners from across the country – Nameless and Earthbound.
All of the regional winners from Metal 2 The Masses will perform on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock which takes place across four days in August at Catton Park in Derbyshire.
This year, the festival will be headlined by Saxon, Lamb Of God, Slaughter To Prevail and Judas Priest.
Other acts performing include Sepultura, Body Count, Biohazard and Bleed From Within.
The Metal 2 The Masses in Northants Grand Final takes place on Saturday, May 30, at the Rushden Athletic Club in Newton Road.
